Where To Promote Your Blog Post After You Hit Publish

So you just wrote the best blog you have written in MONTHS! After looking over it for the third time, it is edited perfectly and looks exactly how you want it. Now the world must see it! But, how? For some blogging websites, there is a fun little feature where it will ask you if you would like to share to Facebook immediately after posting. However, your entire audience (or potential audience!) isn’t just on one platform, sis. We compiled a list of Internet places you can promote your blog after smashing that “publish” button.

Email List

What better way to tell everyone about your latest post than the ones who always come to your website?! Send out an eblast to your email list about what’s new on the blog. Give them some juicy deets that will make them want to click away to follow you to read your blog. But don’t give away too much!

Facebook Groups

For those groups where they allow for you to self-promote - take advantage of them! And for those who do follow/engagements threads rather than posting your newest ventures, use them! (Also be sure to show everyone else on the threads some love, too!)

⇢ psssst, did you know that we have Blog Promo Mondays in the Girlcrush Collective Facebook group?

Twitter

Embed a link to your newest blog as a tweet ASAP. Tack on a couple of relevant, small hashtags and watch your views jump. Getting likes and retweets will instigate engagement, making others wonder what all the fuss is about. And don’t forget to add your blog’s link into your bio!
